Cinema per a joves
Presentació
Aquest any la Mostra de Cinema Llatinoamericà inicia amb el suport de la Regidoria de Cultura de l’Ajuntament de Lleida, i amb vocació de continuïtat, una secció dedicada als joves. “Cinema per a joves” pretén ser una proposta de reflexió i anàlisi sobre realitats diferents a la que vivim en la nostra ciutat. És mitjançant el cinema documental que volem descobrir aquestes altres realitats que tot i existir moltes vegades ens són desconegudes. La veritat que transmet aquest gènere cinematogràfic permet conéixer i entendre el món que ens envolta alhora que ens ajuda a desenvolupar una mirada crítica sobre el nostre entorn.
“Cinema per a joves” s’estrena aquest any amb “La mina del diable”, una coproducció nord-americana i alemanya que ens mostra la dura quotidianitat d’uns nens que es veuen empesos a treballar en la foscor de les mines de Cerro Rico a Potosí (Bolívia) per a poder tirar endavant amb el seus somnis.
This year, with the aim of continuing in the future, the Latin American Film Festival together with the Lleida City Council’s Department of Culture is starting up a section dedicated to the young people. “Cinema for the young” intends to make young people think about and analyse realities different from those in our city. It is via documentary films that we aim to discover these other realities which are often unknown to us, even though they do exist. The truth shown in this genre of film not only enables us to get to know and understand the world around us, but also helps us to take a critical look at our environment.
This year, “The devil’s mine” opens up “Cinema for the young”. This film is a North American and German co-production that shows us the hard everyday life of some children who, in order to go ahead with their dreams, are forced to work in the darkness of the Cerro Rico mines in Potosi (Bolivia).
