El cinema representa una manera d'apropiar-se del món i una de les formes de coneixement més plaents. Ens permet contrastar vides i mons alhora que ens descobreix cultures diferents a la nostra.
Així, a través d'aquesta secció, la Regidoria de Cultura de l'Ajuntament de Lleida, conjuntament amb la Mostra, amb l'objectiu de formar els infants com a espectadors actius de cinema i després de la bona acollida d'edicions anteriors, tornen a programar una proposta cinematogràfica per als més menuts. En aquesta ocasió, tindrem l'oportunitat de gaudir de les aventures i desventures de l’"Agent 00-P2", un guacamai obès i maldestre, agent de la CIA que ha de salvar el món animal de l’ extinció gèlida amb l’ajuda d’una tortuga, la qual és l’encarregada del laboratori tecnològic de la companyia.
Així doncs, la Mostra de Cinema Llatinoamericà de Lleida es converteix en l'entorn ideal per oferir un tast d'aquestes cultures diverses, a vegades fora dels circuits comercials de casa nostra, però també dotades de continguts lúdics i didàctics.
Cinema is a way of coming closer to the world, besides being one of the most pleasant ways of acquiring knowledge. It enables us to contrast lives and worlds as well as discover different cultures from ours.
Once again, after such a favourable reception in previous years, the Lleida City Council’s Department of Culture, together with the Film Festival, is offering a film for young ones, with the aim of turning them into active film watchers. On this occasion, we will have the chance to enjoy the adventures and misfortunes of “Agent 00-P2”, a clumsy fat macaw. As a CIA agent its aim is to save the animal world from extinction due to the deep freeze, with the help of a turtle in charge of the company’s technological laboratory.
In this way, the Latin American Film Festival of Catalonia becomes the perfect place for getting a taste of the variety of cultures which, despite the fact that they are sometimes left off the commercial circuits in our area, do have an entertaining and didactic content.

On this occasion, we will have the chance to enjoy the adventures and misfortunes of “Papelucho”, an intrepid, mischievous ten-year-old boy, an adaptation into film of the popular literary character created by Chilean writer Marcela Paz.
In this way, the Latin American Film Festival of Lleida becomes the perfect place for getting a taste of the variety of cultures which, despite the fact that they are sometimes left off the commercial circuits in our area, do have an entertaining and didactic content.
