El cine representa una manera de apropiarse del mundo y es también una de las formas de conocimiento más placenteras. Nos permite contrastar vidas y mundos a la vez que nos descubre culturas diferentes a la nuestra.
Así, a través de esta sección, la Regidoria de Cultura de l'Ajuntament de Lleida, junto a la Mostra, con el objetivo de formar a los niños y a las niñas como espectadores activos del cine y después de la buena acogida de ediciones anteriores, vuelve a programar una propuesta cinematográfica para los más pequeños. En esta ocasión, tendremos la oportunidad de disfrutar de las aventuras y desventuras del “Agente 00-P2”, un guacamayo obeso y torpe, agente de la CIA que tiene que salvar el mundo animal de la extinción gélida con la ayuda de una tortuga, encargada del laboratorio tecnológico de la compañía.
Así pues, la Mostra de Cinema Llatinoamericà de Lleida se convierte en el entorno ideal para ofrecer una prueba de estas culturas diversas, a veces fuera de los circuitos comerciales de nuestro entorno pero también dotadas de contenidos lúdicos y didácticos.
Cinema is a way of coming closer to the world, besides being one of the most pleasant ways of acquiring knowledge. It enables us to contrast lives and worlds as well as discover different cultures from ours.
Once again, after such a favourable reception in previous years, the Lleida City Council’s Department of Culture, together with the Film Festival, is offering a film for young ones, with the aim of turning them into active film watchers. On this occasion, we will have the chance to enjoy the adventures and misfortunes of “Agent 00-P2”, a clumsy fat macaw. As a CIA agent its aim is to save the animal world from extinction due to the deep freeze, with the help of a turtle in charge of the company’s technological laboratory.
In this way, the Latin American Film Festival of Catalonia becomes the perfect place for getting a taste of the variety of cultures which, despite the fact that they are sometimes left off the commercial circuits in our area, do have an entertaining and didactic content.

On this occasion, we will have the chance to enjoy the adventures and misfortunes of “Papelucho”, an intrepid, mischievous ten-year-old boy, an adaptation into film of the popular literary character created by Chilean writer Marcela Paz.
