La Mostra de Cinema Llatinoamericà de Lleida estrena en este año una nueva sección paralela: La Mostra en Curt, una selección de cortometrajes -de entre los más de 200 que se han recibido en esta edición- los cuales, a pesar de su contrastada calidad, no han tenido cabida dentro de la sección oficial. Se trata de propuestas innovadoras, firmadas por nuevos talentos cinematográficos, algunos formados de forma autodidacta, otros procedentes de las mejores escuelas e instituciones de cine del estado. Con la inestimable colaboración de estas instituciones, los trabajos seleccionados se podrán ver durante los dias del festival en el Cafè del Teatre de l'Escorxador.
This year, the Latin American Film Festival of Lleida is starting a new parallel section: the Festival in Short, representing a selection of short films, from amongst the more than 200 that have been received this year, for which there was no room in the Official Section despite their good quality. These are innovative proposals made by up-and-coming talented filmmakers, some of whom are self-taught, whereas others are from the best Spanish film schools and institutions. Thanks to their invaluable co-operation, the selected works will be shown at the Cafè del Teatre de l’Escorxador whilst the Festival is on.
